In other words, it's Oniomaniacs, an obsession to shop till you drop, till your card 'burst' or in debt. I believe i was once an Oniomaniac sometime ago. It was hard to go cold turkey on shopping! It was like 'cocaine addict', not that i know the taste but i had some hard times. I see, i like, i buy,then i realised, i don't need them at all. What happens in the end? They ended up brand spanking new in the Salvation's army's red bin, in the hope that some lucky girl somewhere in the other side of the town would treasure it. Gone were the days where I go shopping because I believe that i needed some sort of retail therapy just because I was feeling down. Now, i can walk past any shop, and go in, and then tell myself:' nah, there's nothing really fantastic in here that i wanna buy". Then i walked out of all the shops, free from bags and bags of 'goodies' from the sickness.

Hi plurkers! Oops, i meant, hello people!! I realised that I haven't been blogging for awhile. This happens alot when im in love with other things that are more interesting than vox.:) I am not saying vox isn't good in fact it's a better blogging site compared to others. Vox is easy to use and best of all, not much restrictions on uploading stuffs! :) I am not ditching vox because Im constantly plurking.
Today, im introducing 2 things. Two very talented people. One with captivating voice another with magic fingers. The latter literally is 'strumming my pain with his fingers', because he is a young acoustic guitarist from Korea who wants to be a succesful guitarist when he grows up. Besides that, he also compose his own chords! MM, i love talented and original people. I wish i was this talented too. It's okay,i'll just stand by the side and drool with my 'green eyes'.
The former is a Malaysian songwriter who's recently recorded an album in LA and apparently she's taken under Jake Johnson! I love her 'vintage-y voice and very jazzy. Definitely a voice not to be missed and not to forget. And on top of all, she is very original compared to most youtube singers. I am kinda sick of cover singers.

I made something simple for dinner today, fried egg and tomatoes aka 番茄炒蛋. I think that's like every asian kid's favourite dinner menu. :) Taste best if you served it with white rice but i ate it as it is.
I used 3 Roma tomatoes, 2 eggs. =) Dice ur tomatoes however shapes and sizes that you like. Heat up the slightess oil in your frying pan, put in ur tomatoes, add a pinch of salt and cook till it's soft. I guess it depends too, some people like the texture of a raw tomato, or some like it really soft and really cooked. Mine was almost raw but still soft and cooked, medium? hehe. On the other side, beat up 2 eggs, add in some salt to taste and a dash of sesame oil. Oh yea, i added a pinch of sugar and Mirin (japanese cooking sweet wine) too.=) Add in your eggs and stir till ur eggs are cooked. Add in some soy sauce if you like.
I had fun eating it. =)
The dinner I made today was a failure. I ended up throwing away my dinner, sorry God. My dinner was suppose to be something delicious to relive my childhood memories but it didn't turn out like what my granny and mummy used to make. I would say it smelled exactly like the ones I used to eat but the taste wise, it must have been the wholemeal flour i used instead of the white flour. Other than that, I do not have dried shrimps. -.-
Anyway, I also made some chocolate cranberries clusters today. It's still cooling at the rack at the kitchen.
I enjoyed melting the dark chocolate and it just smells so happy. Chocolate makes me happy. It requires the simplest ingredients that you can find from ur local supermarket.
Ingredients: cranberries, 200gm of melting chocolates[i chose dark for mine but of course, u can use any type of melting chocolates], add in any nuts you like: [almonds...i didn put any this time]
Use the double boiling method to melt your chocolate ie boil some water in ur sauce pan, on top of it you put a glass bowl that is heat resistance, put in the blocks of chocolate and watch it melt!! It's a fun process. :)
once it's fully melted, let it cool awhile and stir in the rest of the ingredients. Scoop out ur mixture with your spoon and drop it on cookie sheet or baking sheet. :) You can be creative about this and experiment all sorts of ingredients. I think Rice Pops will be quite nice in this creation too. =)

I usually have day offs on Thurs and Fris. I did my groceries twice this week, yesterday and today. Today i chose to walk. I had my ipod 3g, and off i went. It was really fun walking when you have Mozart playing in your ears especially the weather was just right for a walk: Cool and sunny. hehe.
Anyway, i bought a few things again today: Strawberry Cream Cheese[mmm,yum], bitter melon some say bittergourd, toilet stuffs, Vogue Mag, cranberries and dried fruits.
As im typing, I am also watching the Pope on national tv. I felt a sudden peacefulness by just watching him speak. It must be being around him 'live' in Sydney. I would have gone to see him but i would actually faint on the spot.
Second issue, do you like my new layout? I don't think it's perfect yet as im still kinda working on it. hehe, but i love the vintage effect i did with the photo editing software. =)
Cut short, I am going to the beach now, to run off my fats!!

The movie, just like the book, words can't just simply describe how i actually feel about this movie. I love the book and I love the movie too!! I wasn't disappointed as it turned out perfect!! And and i love how it potrays the relationship of fathers and sons, friendships, and best of all UNconDItional LOVE one can have for one another.
I love the soundtrack too. In fact, I'm listening to it now. 5 stars for everything. I would give more if i could.
